Northern Ontario-shot television shows “Cardinal” and “Letterkenny” won a total of eight awards at the 2018 Canadian Screen Awards on March 11.
Music and Film in Motion sent out a press release, saying it is “thrilled to congratulate the cast, crews and everyone else involved” in the productions.
“These productions filmed parts or the entirety of their production within the boundaries of Northern Ontario, with regional residents making outstanding contributions to each project's success,” the press release said.
“Cardinal” won six awards, while “Letterkenny” took home two. Here's a full list of award winners.
