The organization Our Children, Our Future has been visiting the students at St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School in Killarney for the past couple months.
The group offers a play group for young children in the small community south of Sudbury as a means of preparing them for the leap into elementary school.
The students at the school also participate in the monthly play groups hosted by Our Children Our Future, which includes playing with future students and enjoying a snack together.
There is always a craft associated with the visits, and this month they were decorating hearts.
The students at St. Joseph are treated to healthy snacks whether it be from Our Children, Our Future or courtesy of the Northern Fruit and Vegetable Program through Public Health the other days of the week.
