All snowmobilers between the ages of 12 and 16 are invited to attend the Fourth Annual Young Snowmobilers Ride today at the Whitewater Park building in Azilda (Sudbury Trail Plan Ring Trail).
Participants are asked to be at the building by 10:30 am. The ride is open to all young snowmobilers between ages 12 and 16 and registration is free.
All participants must have a snowmobile with a valid Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs trail permit and a motorized snow vehicle operators license.
Participants attending the workshop will learn tips, drive a challenging obstacle course and go on a ride.
After the ride, hot pizza, hot chocolate and gifts will be presented and certificates will be handed out.
Topics during the seminar include railway safety, drinking and driving, speeding and night riding and frostbite and hypothermia.
