University of Ottawa professor Terry Orlick will be speaking about positive living skills at St. Raphael Catholic Elementary School starting at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 13.
The presentation is part of anti-bullying week, which is being marked by several elementary schools within the Sudbury Catholic District School Board Nov. 12-16.
“Terry Orlick has committed his life to fulfilling a dream of harmony and excellence where people of all ages and cultures are nurtured to become better people, better performers, and contributors to a better world,” a press release from the school board said.
“He has charted new paths to performance excellence and quality living through Positive Living Skills (PLS). PLS are essential for attaining and sustaining the highest levels of joy and personal excellence.
“PLS empower children, youth, and adults to lift the quality and joyfulness of their own lives and enhance the lives of others.”
Parents and guardians, educators, coaches and any adult interested in the subject are invited to the presentation.
Books and CDs will be available for purchase.
Terry is the author of more than 200 articles, 24 books and eight audio CDs, which have sold millions of copies worldwide.
