With the snow finally starting to melt, we are left with the litter accumulated during the snowy months.
You can do your part by helping the city with a two hour Clean Up Blitz.
The blitz is scheduled for May 5, 2018, from 9 to 11 a.m.
Anyone looking to help pick-up the roadside litter is asked to pre-register by Friday, April 27, 2018.
The city will supply all participants with safety vests, gloves and garbage bags will be provided. In addition, participants will also be-be entered into a draw to win one of three Big Blue recycling bins.
For registration, you can visit any Citizen Service Centre or by downloading the registration package at www.greatersudbury.ca/cleanup. Completed packages can be emailed to [email protected] or faxed to 705-671-1148.
