Downtown Sudbury will host Sudbury’s Largest Yard and Sidewalk Sale on May 26 on Larch Street (between Elgin and Durham) and there is still room for vendors.
The community yard sale runs May 26 from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and features a mix of antiques, collectibles, locally crafted products and new and ‘old’ stuff.
Sudburians have an opportunity to host their own yard sale, as Downtown Sudbury will set-up more than 100 eight-foot tables along Larch street, where registered vendors can simply unload their wares and begin selling.
There are a number of events happening on the same Saturday including The Horticultural Society’s Annual ‘Sudbury Gardening Festival’ at The Parkside Centre (YMCA) from 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. as well as The Church of the Epiphany’s Spring Rummage Sale on Larch from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Downtown businesses will have sidewalk occupancy for the day – so there will be plenty of activity for attendees to enjoy while they are in the city’s core.
The registration form for Sudbury’s Largest Yard and Sidewalk sale is available online at www.downtownsudbury.com and at the Downtown Sudbury office (115 Larch Street – St. Andrew’s Building).
Registration fee is $35 and includes the cost of one table and a chair. Additional tables are $15 each. Downtown Sudbury has already sold half of the tables expected for the event, so make sure you hurry in to ensure a space.
