The annual Sunshine List, which details those workers paid from the public purse who make $100,000 a year or more, is out.

Sudbury.com reporters are currently poring over the list. We will bring you local details this afternoon.

Earlier today, we reported on the number of Greater Sudbury Police Service employees who made the list this year. Of the more than 350 people employed by GSPS, 200 are on the list.

The Public Sector Salaries Disclosure Act came into effect in 1996, under then Premier Mike Harris' Tory government.

There are more than 131,000 Ontarians on the list.

If you would like to access the list yourself, you can do so here.
