After its first two summer camps sold out, Sudbury Theatre Centre is adding two additional camps this summer for young thespians.
The camps are open to students ages 8 to 12. The Drama Camp 2 runs the week of July 19-23, while the Musical Theatre Camp 2 runs Aug. 9 to 13.
Each week-long day camp runs Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with enrolment limited to 12 students per week.
“Camp instructors will lead fun, collaborative activities designed to build imagination, confidence, creative expression and lasting friendships. Participants will be exposed to a wide range of games, exercises and experiences that are tailored to any skill level.”
STC will have COVID-19 protocols in place to keep students and instructors safe, including:
Masks must be worn at all times while inside the building;
Classes will be held in the STC auditorium to maximize physical distancing, and;
Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the building and in the washrooms.
Registration discounts apply when booking more than one class, or registering multiple children in the same family, STC said.
