C’mon, ladies, why take a day for yourself on the links and raise money for Easter Seals at the same time?
The 13th Annual Ladies Golf Tournament for Easter Seals Kids hits the links at Cedar Green Golf Club in Garson on Friday, July 20, just one week away.
The full day event is style as a “day of indulgence.” While on the course, ladies will be treated to a pleasurable day filled with beverage and chocolate tasting, mini-spa services and a variety of contests, including hole-in-one opportunities and specialty hole activities. There will also be a silent auction, BBQ lunch, buffet dinner, gift bags and much more.
Ladies participating in this tournament can also look forward to a Caddy Auction, where they can bid on their choice of fit gentlemen to act as their personal caddies.
“We have great prizes along with some exciting new activities planned for the 13th Annual Ladies Golf Tournament,” said Joanne Bowers, a development officer with Easter Seals Ontario. “It’s such a unique golf experience just for ladies. Most importantly, this tournament helps us raise funds and awareness for Easter Seals kids and their families in our community.”
Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m.
Proceeds from the event help provide funding for essential mobility equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, porch lifts and ramps, as well as communication devices to families who require additional help and support in raising a child with a physical disability.
Proceeds also provide opportunities for kids to experience a stay at one of our fully accessible summer camps, Camp Woodeden in London or Camp Merrywood near Perth.
