The Sudbury Action Centre for Youth invites everyone to the birthday celebration of founding director James Grassby, 87. It will take place from 10 am to 3 pm at the centre at 105 Elm St. on Jan. 21.

?At 87, James Grassby continues to be one of Sudbury?s most active and caring citizens,? said Marlene Gorman. He has been involved with such organizations as The University of Sudbury Parish, United Way/Centraide of Sudbury, Credit Unions, Catholic Charities, Inner City Home of Sudbury, and many more too numerous to mention. Friends and colleagues have been invited to drop by the Action Centre to celebrate this day with him. Many of the citizens whose lives he has touched will also be there to wish him a happy birthday.
