Salute Coffee Company is usually known for its coffee, baked food and vegan recipes. However, starting May 14 Salute will also be adding art into the mix.
Salute’s second location on 73 Elm Street, will be home to new work from Northern Ontario artist Julieanne Steedman.
The art exhibition titled ‘Among the Trees’ will be decorating the downtown coffee shop from mid-May until late July.
The work features majestic trees, and familiar landscapes of Northern Ontario told though bold brush strokes and vivid colours.
Steedman hopes that through her art the viewer thinks about how they feel after spending time among the trees.
To celebrate the launch of the art exhibit an opening reception is scheduled to run May 15th from 5- 6 p.m.
The event is open to all residents with an opportunity to win take-home goodies as well as a some door prizes.
