Sudbury doctor honoured by the Heritage Registry

Dr. Avinash Garg, a cardiothoracic surgeon with the Sudbury Regional Hospital (HRSRH) will be included in the forthcoming 2004-05 edition of the heritage Registry of Who's Who, a well-known and respected New York-based biographical publication.

The publication selects and distinguishes individuals throughout North America who have attained a recognizable degree of success in the field of their endeavor.

Heritage Registry director Chris Jespersen has stated Dr. Garg's inclusion is an asset to the publication, and his accomplishments, contributions to the HRSRH, and efforts to better the Canadian business community.

?I am extremely honoured to have been selected as a member of the Who's Who Registry of North America,? said Garg in a press release. ?Caring for patients and practicing cardiothoracic surgery in Northern Ontario at the HRSRH has been a very fulfilling experience for me. Dr. Garg's inclusion will be among thousands of other biographical profiles. The 2004-05 edition will be made available at the major libraries throughout
North America, and serves as a permanent record of achievement.
