The Sudbury-area business community has come up with a unique way to continue making important business connections while social distancing.

On Nov. 19, entrepreneurs and business professionals can take part in an online speed-networking event, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., hosted by Speedy Networking.

The online networking platform allows participants to continue to meet like-minded business professionals in the area, while staying safe in the comfort of their own home.

The event is a joint initiative of the Regional Business Centre and the Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce.

Registrants who sign up will take part in seven to 10 rounds of one-on-one networking, with each session lasting roughly 10 minutes.

Participation is open to anyone with a device with an internet connection, a camera and a microphone.

The cost to attend is $35 per person, and registration is required.
