Sudbury goes HOG wild for Harleys over the weekend

27th annual Ontario Regional HOG Rally takes over Sudbury

Sudbury’s streets rumbled with the loud roar of hundreds of Harley Davidson motorcycles during the 27th annual Ontario Regional HOG Rally over the weekend.

Northeastern Ontario’s four HOG chapters – from Sudbury, Timmins, North Bay and Sault Ste. Marie – hosted more than 550 Harley Davidson owners and enthusiasts from around Canada and the United States.

“It’s all about brotherhood and friendships,” said Dave Larsen, president of the Timmins chapter and one of the event co-ordinators. We may look like big scary bikers but we’re all good guys and girls.”

On Saturday they had a Harley Davidson parade, where they rode from the Countryside Arena in Sudbury’s south end to Bell Park, where they hosted a show and shine, along with some dinner and musical entertainment.
