Laurentian University students will host one of several Canadian Federation of Students' provincial actions on Feb. 3 to show dissatisfaction with the current state of Ontario's post-secondary education system.

Students from universities across the north will come to Sudbury to call for a system of needs-based grants and the reduction of tuition fees. Events are also being held in Toronto, Windsor and Ottawa on the same day.

Participants will gather at the Pub Downunder at Laurentian University at 1 pm, and then proceed to Bell Park for a rally at 2:30 pm, followed by a march down Paris Street to the downtown core.

The day will end at the Knights of Columbus Hall with a social event starting at 4 pm that will include live local music and speakers.
