Environment Canada has issued a freezing drizzle advisory for Greater Sudbury.

Areas of freezing drizzle are expected or occurring in the area.

Patches of freezing drizzle have developed this evening and will continue through Friday morning. Temperatures will rise above the freezing mark late Friday morning bringing an end to the risk of freezing drizzle.

Patchy fog is also occurring across the area tonight producing local areas of reduced visibility.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.

Freezing drizzle advisories are issued when drizzle falling in sub-zero temperatures is expected to freeze on contact, and over time create icy surfaces.
