WATCH: Sudbury.com's election coverage, relive  Election Night 2018

Share your thoughts and opinions with Sudbury.com during our live broadcast this evening

Tonight at 9 p.m., the polls close on the biggest election this province has seen in 15 years. For the first time in more than a decade, it appears Ontario will not have a Liberal government.

Progressive Conservative? New Democrat? Polls suggest NDP Leader Andrea Horwath will win the popular vote, but analysts have been saying for days that vote splitting between the Liberals and the NDP will occur in enough ridings that the Tories will win a majority government.

Either way, the end result of the 2018 Ontario Provincial Election will determine the future of the province for the next four years. In the weeks ahead of Thursday's vote, citizens in Ontario have witnessed dramatic turns, big promises and engaging debates. The events leading up to this election are a reflection of what is most certainly, a political landscape undergoing a time of great change. An upheaval, if you will.

Tonight, Sudbury.com is providing the community with live hyper-local election coverage. You'll hear from your local candidates, what party leaders had to say when they were in Sudbury, and commentary from former cabinet ministers Rick Bartolucci (Liberal), Jim Gordon (PC) and Floyd Laughren (NDP), who pull no punches in offering their opinions on the race, the parties and the choices before the voters. Analysis, reaction — we'll have it all.

And you, the voter, can chat with us through the comment section and through social media during the evening. You can watch the local election unfold with us by visiting Sudbury.com or by watching on our YouTube channel, YouTube.com/SudburyDotCom
