Prior to the event, speculation was swirling around an announcement Vale made this morning at Dynamic Earth.
On Friday, the company issued a release, inviting media to what it called a "landmark" announcement regarding its operations in Sudbury. This has led to speculation Vale will be releasing information on the fate of the Superstack.
