WATCH: Doug Ford campaign event in Sudbury

'Rally for a better Ontario' taking place at Cambrian College

Ontario Progressive Conservative Leader Doug Ford is visiting Greater Sudbury today.

Ford will hold a event, billed 'Rally for a better Ontario,' at the Cambrian College Student Life Centre at 6:30 p.m.

Ford, 53, a former Toronto city councillor, was in Sudbury in February when he was running for the leadership, which he won in March, defeating Christine Elliott, Tanya Granic Allen and Caroline Mulroney.

Sudbury PC candidate Troy Crowder, who was recruited by ousted leader Patrick Brown last year, told Sudbury.com recently he supports Ford and that he expected him to visit the city before the June provincial election.

If you're interested in hearing what Ford has to say but can't make it out in person, Sudbury.com has you covered — we'll be livestreaming the event beginning at 6:30 p.m.
