Suicide prevention event set for Sept. 10

The Northern Ontario Suicide Prevention Network (NOSPN) is hosting a community butterfly release for World Suicide Prevention Day on Sept. 10.
The public is invited to a free lunch and butterfly release that day starting at 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Memorial Park downtown.
Butterflies can be personally released for $10.00, and $2 donations will be accepted to support the cause. Contact Barbara Makela at (705) 671-1941 ext. 228 for more info.
The Northern Ontario Suicide Prevention Network (NOSPN) is a non-profit inter-agency committee which services the communities that form part of the Districts of Sudbury and Manitoulin Island.
