The following is a weekly update of new and ongoing road construction projects released by the City of Greater Sudbury.

The following is a weekly update of new and ongoing road construction projects released by the City of Greater Sudbury.

New Projects:

Bruyere Street, Sudbury: Installation of a new watermain, road improvements and resurfacing will limit access to local traffic starting this week. Work is expected to be complete by late August.

Ongoing Projects:

Pilon Cresent, Chelmsford: Traffic may be reduced to one lane for road repairs and resurfacing about one kilometre south off Highway 144. Repairs should be done by July 22.

Whitaker Street, Sudbury: Installation of a new watermain along with road improvements and resurfacing will limit local traffic for the rest of July.

Long Lake Road between Paris Street and St. Charles Lake Road: Motorists can expect traffic delays at the four corners intersection. Access to Long Lake Road will be reduced to two lanes in both directions.n

Paris Street Bridge: Traffic will continue to be reduced to one lane in each direction while barrier, sidewalk, deck and bridge abutments are subject to maintenance. Work is expected to be complete by the end of August.

Cranbrook Crescent, Sudbury: Access limited to local traffic as improvements and resurfacing are taking place. Work is to be completed by early September.

Paris Street from Walford to Regent Street: Residents can expect delays while paving operations take place. Work is to be complete by early September.

Kingsway and Falconbridge Road, Sudbury: Construction is underway to increase traffic capacity to improve traffic flow at The Kingsway, Falconbridge Road and Second Avenue intersection. Delays can be expected due to lane closures. Project should be complete by November.
