Sunny, warm weather forecast for the weekend

With memories of the long, bitter winter fading at last, Greater Sudbury can look forward to summer-like weather as we head into June. After a gorgeous Friday, Saturday will be mainly sunny, with highs reaching about 25 C.

With memories of the long, bitter winter fading at last, Greater Sudbury can look forward to summer-like weather as we head into June.

After a gorgeous Friday, Saturday will be mainly sunny, with highs reaching about 25 C. Expect light winds from the southwest gusting around 20 km/h.
The UV index will be 8, or very high. Lows will reach 12 C overnight Saturday.

Sunday's high will reach 23 C, with a mix of sun and cloud, and chances of rain rising to 40 per cent later in the day. On Monday, expect mainly cloudy skies with highs of 22 C and a low of 15 C.

There's a 60 per cent chance of rain.

Normal high and low for this time of year is 20 C and 8 C. Sunrise is at 5:36 a.m., sunset at 9:07 p.m.
