"The Easter Seals telethon is a remarkable way to reach Northern Ontarians and raise funds and awareness for kids with physical disabilities," said Easter Seals district manager Lisa Lounsbury in a news release.

This year's telethon didn't raise as much money as past events, however, donations are still being accepted by phoning the Easter Seals office at 566-8858.
