The Elgin Street Mission relies on donations of items such as men's and women's clothing and food to provide services to the city's homeless population.
But lately the agency has been receiving some less-than-useful donations.
“Lately we have been getting small T.V.'s, children's toys, books, Christmas decorations, small household appliances and household items,” said the mission on its Facebook page.
“We have no space for these items. We just have a clothing room that is open on Monday's and Friday's. If we had the room we would take these items but we don't.
“We do take shampoos & soaps which are given to the Corner Clinic along with blankets which also goes to them. Thank you for your co-operation.”
