The Sudbury Five lost 111 to 98 against the KW Titans on Saturday night on the Titans’ home court. The loss had KW win the semi-final series 3-1 against Sudbury.
Three Five players scored over 20 points each.
Jaylen Bland made 20 points Saturday evening with five three-point shots, six field goals and three free-throws with four rebounds.
Jeremy Harris put up 26 points and 12 rebounds. Both Harris and Bland scored over 20 points for Game 3 as well. The starters have consistently performed throughout the season.
The Five’s Kirk Williams Jr scored 21 points for Game 4 with nine field goals, three three-point shots and seven rebounds.
The score after second quarter was 49-38 for the KW Titans.
The Titans had two starters who scored over 30 points – Tarrel Tate who sunk in the shots with 11 field goals, four three-points shots and six free throws and Joel Kindred with eight field goals, five three-point shots and nine free throws.
The Five is out of the playoffs with the loss against the Titans on Saturday night, but they’ve had a good run at playoffs this year. The Titans are now set to play against the London Lightning in the 2022 NBL Canada Finals in a best-of-five series.
