Another candidate has entered the race for mayor.
Marc Crockford, a Greater Sudbury citizen who has been critical of council, joins John Rodriguez, Lynne Reynolds David Chevrier and incumbent Dave Courtemanche.
There’s also a familiar name in the race for Ward 2. Stephen Butcher, who ran for the Conservatives in Sudbury during the federal election in 2004, and for the fringe Progressive Canadian Party during the federal election last winter, will be running for councillor.
He joins Jacques Barbeau, Sandy Bass, Terry Kett and Travis Morgan on the ballot.

Ward 3 – Claude Berthiaume and Mike Dupont.
Ward 4 – Robert Boileau, Ronald Bradley, Evelyn Dutrisac and Marcel M. Rainville.
Ward 5 – Ron Dupuis.
Ward 6 – Robert Kirwan and Andre Rivest.
Ward 7 – Dave Kilgour and Russ Thompson.
Ward 8 – Ted Callaghan and Harry Will.
Ward 9 – Doug Craig, Marvin Julian and Jim Sartor.
Ward 10 – Frances Caldarelli, Fern Cormier and Austin Davey.
Ward 11 – Janet Gasparini, Mike Petryna and Rick Villeneuve
Ward 12 – Will G. Brunette, John Caruso, Joscelyne Landry-Altmann and Derek Young.
