Elementary and secondary school musicians from across the North are tuning up for the Northern Ontario Music Festival at Sudbury Secondary School's Sheridan Auditorium from March 1 to 3.
Students from Greater Sudbury, Sturgeon Falls, Parry Sound, Espanola, Elliot Lake, Kirkland Lake and North Bay will showcase their skills in a number of band formats, vying for a spot on the national stage at Musicfest Canada in May.
The festival runs from 8 am to 6 pm. Daily tickets are available at the door for $2.
