Some of Sudbury's finest (and by fine, I mean fiiiine) took training to a whole new level — 18 storeys high, to be exact.
Greater Sudbury Firefighters participated in height-based rope training by repelling off the roof of the Rockview Tower on Ramsey View Court on Sept. 15.

This type of training was a first for the Greater Sudbury Fire Service.
"We've done some low-angle, low-slope rescue techniques already," Greater Sudbury Fire training officer Chris Zawierzeniec said.
"But as for high-angle and the basket work that we're doing today, it's the first that we've seen here."
The technical training was led by the Spartan Response team from Grimsby, Ontario.
