This year’s Christian Unity Events a time of awakening, learning, and growing

All are welcome to attend celebrations during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, which runs until Jan. 23

Apology and vision are at the helm of this year’s Christian unity events. 

A series of events that begin Jan. 17 focuses on uniting Christians of different faith traditions. 

All are welcome to join is as they begin with a worship and fellowship at St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church in Copper Cliff. 

A Christian unity service will be held Jan. 19 at 2 p.m. at Holy Redeemer Church in Minnow Lake.
 
A prayer service and fellowship gathering will take place Jan. 21 at Garson’s First Baptist Church

The week's events will be brought to a close with a prayer breakfast featuring a guest speaker on Jan. 23, at Glad Tidings Church. Dr. Chris Duncanson-Hales who teaches in the departments of philosophy and religious studies at the University of Sudbury at Laurentian University will be delivering the final talk to close the event.
