If you are experiencing a cough, fever, sore throat, runny nose of diarrhea, you are asked to stay at home and not visit patients at any area hospital or seniorsÂ? home.

Everyone else who enters the Sudbury Regional HospitalÂ?s three sites must now wash their hands upon entry and exit. Visitors are being asked to use the solution provided at the main entrance and in patient rooms to wash their hands.

Visiting hours remain daily from 11 am to 1 pm and 5 to 7 pm.

Two visitors per patient are allowed and only one visitor per patient will be allowed in the emergency department.
The hospital is thanking members of the public for their continue co-operation and wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year.
