Three road work projects to begin May 27

The City of Greater Sudbury would like to advise motorists that there will be three road work projects beginning May 27, that may affect traffic until the beginning of July. 

Vermillion Lake Road in Chelmsford will undergo ditching and resurfacing from May 27 to July. From 7 a.m to 7 p.m., 2.5 km worth of roadway west of Gordon Lake Road will be reduced to one lane.

Curb and Sidewalk repair to Leslie Street will take place from May 27 to May 31. During this time, a section of roadway from Notre Dame Avenue to Murray Street will be reduced to one lane from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

From May 27 to July 5, the Kingsway from Mazda to Pioneer Gas Bar will undergo a curb and sidewalk removal and replacement. During this time, the westbound curb lane and the roadway’s intersection with Bancroft will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
