Earlier this week, members of Mine Mill Local 598 approved a new four-year contract with their employer, Glencore Integrated Nickel Operations, formerly known as Xstrata, formerly known as Falconbridge.
In honour of this new contract, we dug up some old footage of Falconbridge — the town, not the company — from the early 1940s, courtesy of the Greater Sudbury Archives.
