If you missed country music star Tim Hicks' Jan. 22 concert at the Sudbury Community Arena, you'll get another chance to see it.

The concert was filmed for a television special that will air Country Music Television (CMT) on April 9 at 8:30 p.m.

The Niagara native was recognized as the 2014 Canadian Country Music Awards Rising Star and has five gold-certified singles in addition to multiple sold-out headlining dates and tours across the country.

Hicks released his third full-length album Shake These Walls featuring the hit singles “Stompin’ Ground” and “Slow Burn” last fall.

With close to 400,000 total digital singles sold to date, Hicks celebrated his highest charting hit in 2016 with “Stompin’ Ground”, which was the #1 most added song at Canadian Country Radio upon release and topped the digital singles chart for one week as the best-selling Canadian country song.
