Tour the city, take a selfie and you might win a prize

If the need to stay home has you now aching to explore, the Coalition for a Liveable Sudbury is celebrating their anniversary, and giving Sudburians the chance to do just that, explore. 
That, and search for treasure. 
In honour of their 15th anniversary, the Coalition is inviting residents to take part in a Community Treasures Scavenger Hunt.  The hunt is a chance to explore Greater Sudbury with stops including community gardens, rain gardens, greenspaces, cycle tracks, and more, and also win prizes.

Start the scavenger hunt now with the map of the sites, found at liveablesudbury.org/cls15 and see how many you can visit.

Take a photo of the site, or take a selfie at the site. 

Then, post your photo with the hashtag #CommunityTreasuresCLS to the Project Impact Sudbury Facebook Group, or to Instagram or Twitter.  Photos can also be emailed to [email protected]. Make sure to include which community treasure(s) you’ve visited.

The Coalition for a Liveable Sudbury also notes that while following all current COVID rules and guidelines you can “add to the adventure by inviting friends and family to join you and use sustainable transportation to get there.”

Not only will you get a chance to tour the city, but also a chance to win prizes. Fifteen, to be exact. A draw for them will be held in august. 

Over the last 15 years, the Coalition for a Liveable Sudbury has created, supported and advocated for positive change in Sudbury. “It is so uplifting to see the positive change we have created together as a community,” said Naomi Grant, chair of Coalition for a Liveable Sudbury.  “We hope residents will discover new community treasures, get inspired to create even more positive change, and have lots of fun taking part.”
