Traffic update: Expect delays at the Four Corners all day Saturday

Numerous paving and repair jobs will be starting on Monday

Due to a change in the weather forecast, paving in the Four Corners intersection originally planned for Sunday will now occur from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, May 23.

There will be numerous lane closures and police will be directing traffic through the intersection. Drivers are advised to take alternate routes when possible and to expect delays.

Water main repair on Montee Principale at Notre Dame Avenue will cause road closures from Monday, May 25 to Friday, May 29. Detour signs will direct traffic to Marier Street, pedestrians will be escorted on site.

Paving operations will close the entrance/access to College Boreal from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, May 29. The pathway between MacDonald Cartier and College Boreal, used by cyclists and pedestrians, will not affected by the work.

Rock excavation and related work on the Lasalle Boulevard and the Frood Road intersection will cause intermittent lane shifts from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, May 25 to Wednesday, May 27. Traffic signs will guide motorists.

Grading and paving on Maley Drive between the Boreal roundabout and Barry Downe Road and from the Barry Downe roundabout to Falconbridge Highway will reduce traffic to one lane in each direction from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, May 25 to Friday, May 29.

Asphalt work in the Maley Drive and Falconbridge Highway intersection from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 26 and Wednesday May 27 will cause traffic delays in the area. Police will direct traffic through the intersection.

All construction projects, dates and times are dependent upon weather.
