Traffic update: Lane reductions in Lively this week

Also watch out for curb lane closures on Paris starting tomorrow

MR 24, Lively: The installation of new guide rails will see lane reductions on MR 24, just south of the Highway 17 overpass, on October 11 to 14. One lane of traffic will be maintained. Flag persons will be on site directing traffic. Work will be done between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. with the road fully open outside of work hours.

Paris Street, Sudbury: Sudbury Hydro will be conducting underground cabling for a private development and will close the northbound curb lane, shoulder and sidewalk, from Facer Street to Boland Avenue, on October 12 to 14. Work will be done between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Belanger Construction will be working on new pedestrian crossovers on Elm Street between Paris Street and Lisgar Street and on Brady Street at Shaughnessey from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. October 21. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions.

Barry Downe Road and Woodbine Avenue, Sudbury: Installation of pedestrian crossovers will affect lanes on Barry Downe Road and Woodbine Avenue between October 21. One lane of traffic will be maintained. Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
