If you can walk, you can snowshoe! The Northern Cancer Foundation is holding the 3rd annual Trek for Cancer Snowshoe Fun Run on Sunday, March 4.
This family event will be taking place at Kivi Park (4472 Long Lake Rd.)
This is the second of six MOVE - The Kivi Park Fitness Series events.
There are four distances available:
- 1km Kids Trek – Kids in the 1 km course can take part for free ($5 snowshoe rental fee if required).
- 3 km, 5 km and 7 km – $35 ($5 rental fee if needed)
When the treks are over, there will be dog sledding, face painting, a sugarbush, sliding, skating, chili, hot chocolate and a bonfire at the finish line.
