Two men and a woman charged after Chelmsford knife fight

Two men and a woman are facing charges after an altercation involving a knife in Chelmsford July 19.

Greater Sudbury Police were called to the scene of a disturbance in the community at around 9:15 p.m.

Before police arrived, two of the people involved received injuries from a knife. All of the people involved in the altercation were brought to Health Sciences North, where they were treated for their injuries and released.

As a result of the initial investigation, a 20-year-old Sudbury man was charged with assault with a weapon, weapons dangerous and mischief.

Police looked into the incident further, and through witness statements and a review of surveillance video, two other people were also charged July 27.

A 29-year-old Chelmsford man has been charged with two counts of assault with a weapon and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. A 20-year-old Chelmsford woman was also charged with one count of assault.
