Ontario Provincial Police reported that officers and paramedics responded to a fatal motor vehicle crash Saturday night, north of Webbwood.
Police said the crash took the life of Jordan Anstey, 24, of Espanola. Anstey was described as a passenger in the vehicle. No other details of the crash were provided.
"On June 4, 2022 at approximately 9:05 p.m. the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the North East Region Emergency Response Team and Manitoulin-Sudbury Paramedic Services responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision north of Webbwood," said the OPP news release.
Police said the investigation is continuing at this time with assistance of the OPP's Traffic Incident Management Enforcement Team (TIME), Traffic Collision Investigator and a Reconstructionist.
