Video: Elgin crash victim says she forgives impaired driver

"Six months isn't very long for damaging two people's lives...but at the same time, I don't wish him bad."

On July 28, 2016 the security cameras in front of the Northern Life/Sudbury.com office captured a collision which resulted in long-term injuries for a pair of victims, including Randi-Leigh Pomerleau, who was sitting in her parked vehicle when Chad Patry, impaired at the wheel of a vehicle he had borrowed, rear-ended Pomerleau's car.

Patry was recently sentenced to six months in jail on the charges of impaired driving causing bodily harm.

Six months in jail may not seem like a long sentence for an impaired driving conviction, but Pomerleau says she feels for Patry and his family.
