Video: Ramsey Lake Skating Path voted Winter's Best

Sudbury.com readers voted Ramsey Lake the best place to go skating in Greater Sudbury

This winter, Sudbury.com is exploring all the best Greater Sudbury has to offer in a series called Winter's Best.

We'll be visiting Sudbury's best ski trail, best ice fishing lake, best hot chocolate — and it's all voted on by you, our readers!

Last week we asked you: Where is the best place to go skating outdoors in Greater Sudbury?

The skating oval at Queen's Athletic Field came in a close second, but it couldn't beat the view at the Ramsey Lake Skating Path.

Ramsey Lake Skating Path is usually open from mid-January to the middle of March, but of course that all depends on the weather.

Watch as we lace up our skates and enjoy the sunshine out on the lake.

You can access the Ramsey Lake Skating Path at Science North or McNaughton Terrace.

Now that we worked up an appetite, we want to know: What restaurant serves the best comfort food in Greater Sudbury?

Click here to vote and be sure to tune in next Friday, Feb. 9 when we try it out for ourselves.

Watch all our Winter's Best videos here.
