Dave Kilgour passed away in his sleep at his family’s camp on Ella Lake on July 9. He was 70 years old.
Community leaders, friends and family gathered at Our Lady of Peace Church in Capreol on July 14 to bid a final farewell to the community’s last mayor.

Kilgour leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Jeannie (Wojciechowski); his children, Brett (Angie) and Scott (Lindsey); his grandchildren Sophie, Paige and Evelyn; and his siblings Sandy (Rick) Komhyr, and Leslie (Tim) Carr.
