Sudbury Food Bank's executive director Dan Xilon thought he was meeting with Sudbury.com to talk about the Edgar Burton Christmas Food Drive, but he never guessed this would happen!

The generous donation was made by the Fortin Foundation and facilitated by Sudbury.com. The funding will go a long way to feeding many Sudburians this season, but more donations are needed to ensure no one goes to bed hungry.
The annual Edgar Burton Christmas Food Drive kicks off Nov. 24.
The campaign, which is one of the largest food drives in Ontario, contributes around one quarter of the Sudbury Food Bank's annual food requirements.
The food bank serves 16,000 people every year through 44 member agencies across the city.
