The Rotary Club of Sudbury Sunrisers recently handed out more than $12,000 in donations to a variety of local charities.
The funds came from the club's Vive le Vin fundraiser.
Six $2,000 donations and one $500 donation were handed out by the club.
Recipients included Collège Notre Dame, House of Kin, Inner City Home of Sudbury, Maison McCulloch Hospice, March of Dimes, the Minnow Lake/New Sudbury Nursery School (which lost its home in a fire last summer) and Spinal Cord Injury of Ontario.
