Sudbury Regional Hospital is asking people to be patient if they have to wait longer for emergency room treatment during the March Break holiday next week.
The emergency room can have up to 200 visits each day, and there are higher than normal patient volumes during school holidays.
Wait times at the hospital depend on need, not on arrival, and priority is given to critically ill patients. If urgent care is not required, other options include walk-in clinics and pharmacies.
