Wallbridge Mining Company Limited has begun testing the large, highly conductive anomaly discovered at its Windy Lake property in late 2002.

Wallbridge is drilling two new holes to further investigate the anomaly, referred to as a superconductor, discovered east of hole WL-009.

On Dec. 27, hole WL-011 was started from the shoreline of Windy Lake. A second land-based drill is drilling hole WL-09A, a wedge cut from hole WL-009 to obtain data between holes WL-009 and WL-011.

Additional borehole electromagnetic geophysical surveying of hole WL-009 was carried out in late December using the UTEM IV system.

Windy Lake is now frozen and Wallbridge has started construction of ice pads two-hundred feet in diameter to support diamond drilling from the surface of the lake. The company expects to have seven drills operating from the ice by early February. In total, 10 holes are planned for the current ice drilling program at Windy Lake.
