The City of Greater Sudbury will continue the series of consultation sessions for the Ramsey Lake subwatershed study this Wednesday, June 27.

The fourth public open house will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 76, located at 1553 Weller St. in Sudbury.

"Our water resources are an important aspect of daily living in our community," said a news release from the city.

"From drinking water for our residents and animals to supporting habitat for our plants and wildlife, as well as providing great recreation opportunities, protecting our watersheds has been identified as a priority in the City of Greater Sudbury’s Official Plan."

This is the fourth in a series of public information sessions for the Ramsey Lake study. Public comments will be compiled and considered as part of a study to assess Ramsey Lake and to develop recommendations for best management practices to reduce erosion, prevent flooding and improve water quality.

Can’t make the meeting? Feedback may be submitted online at overtoyou.greatersudbury.ca

Feedback will be accepted until Friday, July 13 at 4:30 p.m.
