Ward 8 candidate issued Ice Bucket Challenge

Ward 8 municipal election candidate Stefano Presenza has launched an ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to all of the 2014 candidates.

The challenge helps to keep alive the hope of finding a cure for ALS through research, and Stefano said it is his goal to not only raise awareness and dollars for a noble cause, but to also spark voter interest so that Sudburians can get to know their candidates on a more personal level.

His particular Ice Bucket Challenge involves a large bucket of ice water and a straight-jacket.

?This election will be epic, as many fresh faces have stepped forward, offering us new perspectives and ideas to steer Sudbury on a path of positive growth," he said in a press release. "My wish is for everyone to really get to know all of the candidates and what they have to offer.?
