Greater Sudbury Police have issued the following warning on their Twitter page.
"The rain followed by a drastic drop in temperature, coupled with the overnight snow has made our roadways very slick and visibility poor," said the tweet.
"Take your time when driving today. Slow down. Leave extra room between vehicles. Bundle up and stay warm."
