As of Wednesday evening, 12,583 people in Greater Sudbury had already voted, representing 11.1 per cent of the roughly 117,000 eligible voters in the city.

But Sudbury.com has received several messages and calls from residents worried because they haven't yet received their voter card with their PIN number, which lets you vote online from anywhere, or at one of the city's voting stations.

So what to do?

First, you can go here to see if you are on the voters list. If you're not on the list, you have between now and 8 p.m. voting day Monday to register – as long as you live in the city and have proper identification. A list of acceptable ID can be found here.

Anyone able to go to Tom Davies Square can visit the clerk's office on the second floor to get on the list. And before election day, you can go to any of these libraries or citizen service centres across Greater Sudbury:

  • Azilda Gilles Pelland Library, 120 St Agnes Street, Azilda
  • Capreol Library & Citizen Service Centre, 9 Morin Street, Capreol
  • Chelmsford Library & Citizen Service Centre 3502 Errington Street, Chelmsford
  • Coniston Library, 30 Second Avenue, Coniston
  • Copper Cliff Library, 11 Balsam Street, Copper Cliff
  • Dowling Library & Citizen Service Centre 79 Main Street West, Dowling
  • Garson Library & Citizen Service Centre 214 Orell Street, Garson
  • Levack/Onaping Library, 1 Hillside Avenue, Onaping
  • Lively Library & Citizen Service Centre, 15 Kin Drive, Unit A, Lively
  • Main Branch Library, 74 Mackenzie Street, Sudbury
  • New Sudbury Library, 1346 Lasalle Boulevard, Sudbury
  • South End Library, 1991 Regent Street, Sudbury
  • Tom Davies Square Citizen Service Centre, 200 Brady Street, Sudbury
  • Valley East Library & Citizen Service Centre, 4100 Elmview Drive, Hanmer.

You can also register at any of the mobile electronic voting locations, which is making its way across the city this week. A full list can be found here.

On election day, you can register at any of the electronic voting sites. A full list of the times and locations for the sites can be found here.

This is the first time Greater Sudbury has voted online only in an election of any type. Limited online voting took place in 2014, although traditional ballots were used on voting day itself.
